This method grants an entity access to an app whose permission_type field is set to named_entities. Pass either or both user_ids and usergroup_ids values to add those entities to the app's access list.
The app must already have its permission_type field set to named_entities before you add entities. Use the admin.apps.permissions.set method to configure the permission type, the admin.apps.permissions.remove method to revoke access, and the admin.apps.permissions.list method to view current access.
