Usage info

The admin.slackbot.skills.list API method lists Slackbot skill metadata owned by an Enterprise organization, including invite-only skills. The caller must be an org admin or owner, using a user token from an org-level installation of the app on an Enterprise organization. Workspace-level installations can't be granted the admin.skills:read or admin.skills:write scopes, and calls from teams outside an Enterprise organization return not_an_enterprise.

The results include invite-only skills, but only as metadata. Each skill contains id, display_name, description, category, creator_id, date_created, date_updated, visibility, is_official, usage_count, library_count, and auto_enabled. Instructions, example prompts, apps, and access are never returned, and appearing in this list doesn't grant access to the skill canvas. Built-in skills and skill sets aren't included.

auto_enabled.permission_type can be everyone, named_entities, or no_one. usergroup_ids contains active named groups owned by the org or its workspaces, and is empty for everyone and no_one. Deleted and foreign-org groups are excluded. Publication and deployment are independent: an unpublished skill can still be auto-enabled.

Use category, creator_ids, publish_status, and auto_enabled_status to filter.

Use sort (name, usage_count, or date_updated) and sort_dir (asc or desc) to order the inventory. Name ordering is case-insensitive; an unedited skill has a null date_updated and sorts by its creation date. File ID breaks ties in the requested direction. Search index updates are asynchronous, and counts are approximate.

limit is 1–200, with a default of 100. Each request fetches at most one search page, then applies metadata and deployment filters on the server. A filtered page may contain fewer results than limit, including zero. Always follow response_metadata.next_cursor until it is empty, keeping filters and sort settings unchanged. Cursors are bound to the calling user and organization. Results changing during traversal may move between pages; this is not a snapshot.
